Whoa, I just saw this and I would have loved to shoot portraits for locals who have family in the military. I'm an Army brat, learned black & white in the shop at Fort Hood, Texas when I was in college. My degree is journalism and photography. Our kids are in college now, and I still shoot everything - from black & white film to digital. Let me know; I'd love to do this. We live in the South Central Idaho mountains - the Wood River Valley. Contact me anytime.

WOW! I am impressed with this project. My dad spent 23 years in the Navy and I went right to him after hearing about the Portraits of Love Project and spoke to him about having received photos from home when he was away. The answers I received were emotional.

I would love to participate in this project next year. I photograph weddings and on location photography. I am in the Leyard, Ct area and only 15 min for RI.

Please contact me and let me know how I might be able to contribute to this project.

Like many I am impressed with the Portraits of Love Project. Hadn't heard about this until it was on the nationwide news the other nite.

And I would be willing to participate in this project. While I primarily do wildlife photography, perhaps I can contribute. Though it might be an underestimate that family pictures are not much more difficult that Bald Eagles in flight. At least the subjects are not flying off to eat the fish they just caught. :)

As a Army veteran, I am interested in supporting our soldiers and I understand the value of contacts from home when you're overseas. I am located near Philadelphia.

Please contact me and let me know how I might be able to contribute my photographic expertise to this project.

I would like to be involved in this project. I just saw the advertisement in the December PPA mag. If for some reason you have space or have a spot open, I would like to be considered. I live in N. VA/Richmond, VA area.

thanks!
