Scott Bourne has been involved in photography and digital media for over 30 years. His internationally-recognized photography has appeared in more than 200 books, magazines, newspapers, television shows, fine art galleries and websites and he is the author of five photography books. Scott has led photo, new media and social media workshops conferences and seminars around the world and has a history of working with startups. He was the co-founder of NetRadio, which went public and then went on to found First-TV (which he sold to CMP Media).
Scott was one of the first photographers to receive the Professional Photographers of America’s Certified Professional Photographer designation and also holds the Master Photographer designation awarded by the Washington Professional Photographers Association. Scott’s business acumen and marketing skills have landed him on the boards of directors or advisors for dozens of media companies and Internet startups, as well as several large photographic-related businesses.
Skip Cohen is President/Founder of Marketing Essentials International, a marketing consulting firm specializing in projects dedicated to photography, (http://www.mei500.com), primarily photographic education. He is also the founder of Skip’s Summer School and runs two very successful blogs on photography, PhotoResourceHub.com and SkipsPhotoNetwork.com. He is past President/Chief Operating Officer of Rangefinder Publishing Inc. and previously had responsibility for Rangefinder Magazine, AfterCapture Magazine, and the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Association.
He has served as Industry Advisor and Board member for Professional Photographers of America and Vice President of the Photographic Manufacturer’s. Skip was recipient of ADL’s Torch of Liberty Award, Foto Imagen Magazine’s Man of the Year Award and received PPA’s Legacy Award for his work in support of PPA Charities. He is an editorial contributor for PMA Magazine and Resource Magazine and has written six books on photography.
